Landscape Foreman

Rohsler’s Allendale Nursery has been designing and installing beautiful, unique and functional landscapes throughout Bergen County for over 100 years. We pride ourselves on working closely with our clients and creating quality landscapes that meet or exceed their expectations. Our landscape division is expanding, and we are seeking a talented, responsible and hardworking Landscape foreman who takes pride in his work to join our team.

Day to Day responsibilities include overseeing 2-3 man landscape crew, plantings, installation of hardscapes (walls, walks and patios), site work, pruning,etc.

Requirements:

  • Experienced in Landscape Planting Installations and Site work
  • Knowledge of Plant Material
  • Proficient in Installation of Hardscapes (Patios, walks & walls): Pavers, Bluestone, Structural Block, Natural Wall Stone, etc.
  • Competency in Operating Heavy Equipment such as Skid steer loaders, Backhoes, Fork lifts, etc.
  • Experience in Operating Power Equipment including Demo saws, Blowers, Chain Saws, etc.
  • Must Possess a Valid & Clean Driver’s License & be able to drive small to medium sized trucks
  • Capable & Experienced in Overseeing small 2-3-man landscape crew
  • Good personnel skills and the ability to respect and get along with crew members
  • Bilingual in Spanish & English a plus with good communication skills
  • Adept at Resolving/Problem Solving unforeseen challenges that arise on Landscape Sites
